The drink that earned an honorary place among the alcoholic beverage arena was not so long ago considered to be a more sophisticated drink for the mature individual. We gathered all the right people in Israel for an updated conversation about whisky \u2013 here you have the answers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Rafi Revivo, from the restaurant Jaco&#8217;s Street in Jerusalem made us a cocktail based on Woodford Reserve.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-16840\" src=\"https:\/\/akkerman-dev.ussl.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/\u05e8\u05e4\u05d9-\u05e8\u05d1\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5.-\u05d2\u05e7\u05d5-\u05e1\u05d8\u05e8\u05d9\u05d8-\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05e9\u05dc\u05d9\u05dd.-woodford-reserve.-\u05e6\u05d9\u05dc\u05d5\u05dd-\u05de\u05ea\u05df-\u05d1\u05d5\u05d2\u05e0\u05d9\u05dd-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"578\" height=\"867\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\">One of the most meaningful experiences I&#8217;ve gone throw with whisky was the visit of The Macallan ambassador in Jaco&#8217;s Street. It was all so special with a special menu by our chef to compliment the whisky.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\">His colleague Yankale Turjeman met us in his bar Zuta next door to his restaurant 1868. After a couple of cocktails made with Highland Park, we heard about his encounter with 60 years old whisky while serving as a private chef in London.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-16833\" src=\"https:\/\/akkerman-dev.ussl.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/\u05d9\u05e2\u05e0\u05e7\u05dc\u05d4-\u05ea\u05d5\u05e8\u05d2\u05de\u05df.-1868-\u05d5\u05d6\u05d5\u05d8\u05d0-\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05e9\u05dc\u05d9\u05dd.-highland-park.-\u05e6\u05d9\u05dc\u05d5\u05dd-\u05de\u05ea\u05df-\u05d1\u05d5\u05d2\u05e0\u05d9\u05dd-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"701\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Our tour in Jerusalem was closed with Kfir Bahar, a supervising bartender from the Glen Whisky Bar in Jerusalem. While making us his own interpretation of Smokehead cocktail, Bahar told us he can&#8217;t point out a specific type that drinks whisky. &#8220;I saw both male and female, young and old, local and tourist all enjoy a glass of good whisky&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-16834\" src=\"https:\/\/akkerman-dev.ussl.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/\u05db\u05e4\u05d9\u05e8-\u05d1\u05db\u05e8.-\u05d2\u05dc\u05df-\u05d5\u05d5\u05d9\u05e1\u05e7\u05d9-\u05d1\u05e8-\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05e9\u05dc\u05d9\u05dd.-smokehead.-\u05e6\u05d9\u05dc\u05d5\u05dd-\u05de\u05ea\u05df-\u05d1\u05d5\u05d2\u05e0\u05d9\u05dd-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"786\" height=\"524\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Yotam Shilo. Owner of the Tel Aviv placed bars Double Standard and Spicehouse we met while he was fixing his own version of Jack Daniel&#8217;s based Penicillin. I wish to learn from him more on business development&#8221;.
